These terms and conditions reflect the practice of private day nurseries throughout the UK. We ask that all parents make themselves aware of our terms and conditions as they are in place to protect both the parents and the Nursery.

• There is a one-off payment of £40.00 to register each child at the Nursery this payment is non-refundable. This is not a guarantee that a place is available.
• Sessions are 8am to 1pm or 1pm to 6pm. Full day care is 8am to 6pm.
• Any extra hours are agreed in advance and an extra fee applies.
• Meals included are lunch and tea, and breakfast before 8.30am if required. Snacks are included for both sessions.
• Fees are payable in advance on the 1st day of the month and must be paid by standing order. Payment is considered late if not paid in seven (7) days i.e. 7th day of the month. A late payment fee of £20.00 will be added to the next month’s invoice if not paid on time.
• All fees are calculated on a monthly basis which means that the weekly fee is multiplied by 52 and then divided by 12 in order to create a fixed monthly payment.
• We recommend a two week settling in period and although no notice is required of either party to terminate the contract during these time, all other parts of the contract are applicable.
• Once a contract is signed and a future place is held, a deposit of £150.00 for six month place retention is payable. This will either be returned at the end of the contract or can be used towards final fees.
• Four weeks written notice is required if you withdraw your child from the Nursery.
• Any parent/guardian late collecting their child will incur a fee every 15 minutes.
• The Nursery does not accept responsibility for accidental injury or loss of property. We have insurances that are required by Law and these are on display at the nursery.
• If a member of staff is employed by a family to look after their child then a one-off fee of 15% of their annual salary is payable to the Nursery.
• The Nursery requests permission to take photographs of the children, and use these photographs in promotional material.
• Special diets are catered for and the Nursery will work in conjunction with parents/guardians.
• We have a policy on illness within the Nursery and if your child becomes ill during a session then the emergency contact will be notified. If your child is suffering from a communicable disease then they will not be allowed to return until the infection has cleared. If your child is going to be absent you have a duty to notify the manager as soon as possible.
• We have a strict child protection policy which means that if we believe a child may have suffered abuse or neglect then we notify Child Protection services (these include Social Services and the Police) and Ofsted. Parents should be aware that we are not under any obligation to discuss this with them prior to the services being made aware.
